You can relax in Depot Park and see the restored caboose, picnic under the beautiful trees in Howes Grove Park, or if you are looking for a place to launch your watercraft, enjoy a concert or relax by the pool then spend a day in beautiful Civitan Park, located on the banks of the Ohio River and overlooking the historic Blennerhassett Island and Mansion. Come take a drive through the Ohio Scenic byways managed by the Ohio River Trails, or take an excursion to the Island. Relaxation is something to look forward to in the Belpre area.
The annual Belpre Invitational Homecoming draws approximately 20,000 visitors to the Belpre are each year during the first weekend in August. Belpre Pride shines during this yearly event as Belpre’s 7000 residents and volunteers join together to welcome visitors and celebrate the traditions and heritage that keeps the community strong. With pageants, parades, carnival rides, crafters, food, contests and entertainmentthere is plenty to be enjoyed by everyone.
