Pass GO and Build Connections in Belpre and Surrounding areas!!
Belpre Area Business Exchange 2026 is set for Wednesday, April 29, 2026, 4:30-6:30 pm at Parkersburg Art Center, 725 Market St., Parkersburg, WV.
The goal is to provide a true “business exchange” networking “After-Hours” event, offering businesses and non-profits an opportunity to communicate their products and services to others in the Mid-Ohio Valley.
You won’t go to jail, but you will get face-to-face time with community leaders, business professionals, and members of the public.
This year’s theme, “Belpre Area Chamber Biz-opoly: Pass GO and Build Connections in Belpre and Surrounding Areas,” is inspired by a favorite board game!
Belpre Area Chamber “Bizopoly” is open to the business-interested public and offers the opportunity to connect with fellow business leaders and community members in a relaxed setting while enhancing visibility and building valuable relationships.
With an expo-style set-up, participants can decorate their booths with a “tip of the hat” to the board game theme. Costumes are OK!! Let’s have fun!! There will be plenty of food and beverages!

It's a big celebration: Grand Opening and Ribbon-cutting for Wigal Hardware and Supply 412 Washington Blvd., Belpre. Friday and Saturday, June 26-27
From the Wigal Hardware team: We are opening the doors to Wigal Hardware and Supply at 412 Washington Blvd in Belpre, and we are kicking things off by rallying behind a vital local cause. We want to invite the Mid-Ohio Valley to celebrate our Grand Opening with us, while helping a local family in need. We have a two-day celebration packed with food, entertainment, and major raffles: • Friday, June 26 (7 AM – 6 PM): Contractor Day – Dedicated to our local pros and tradespeople, featuring exclusive discounts, merch and gift card giveaways, plus free coffee, donuts, and other goodies. • Friday, June 26 (11AM) Chamber Of Commerce Ribbon Cutting Ceremony • Saturday, June 27 (10AM – 2 PM): Family & Public Day – A massive community event featuring a petting zoo with Highland cows, a bounce house with a slide, kick darts, cotton candy, Sunset Slush, QCB Food Truck, and live music by Brandon Richards. The Heart of Our Opening: Most importantly, we are using our grand opening to support Reese, a brave local boy currently fighting cancer. Throughout the weekend, we are hosting a giant charity raffle, and 100% of the proceeds are going directly to Reese’s family to help with medical and travel expenses. We would love to invite BACC members and family out to enjoy the event and help us spread the word to the community this week. Belpre Area Chamber Ambassadors began the afternnoon with lunch and a certificate presentation at Maka Mia Pizza in Vienna with owner Marvin Edwards. Rick Marshall at Huntington Bank Downtown Parkersburg branch gave us a tour and described the history and services of the banking company. Their certificate will be presented at a later time. On to WTAP with host Trevor Porta, who showed us the studio, newsroom and office areas of the station. The afternoon ended with time at Wine Down on Market and with owner Pam Creel.
